Telephone Pole Poems

This is what I like about my neighborhood. Someone takes the time to print out brief poems they’ve written, cover them in protective plastic and staple-gun them to utility poles. So, say, you are walking up a very steep hill on a 93 degree afternoon…you get to pause every few feet to read a little poem.

I like, too, that other people take the time to write little notes and snippets of critiques on the poles regarding the poems.

Kind of an expensive neighorhood…but the artists and writers who live here make it worthwhile.
